The main (but not exclusive) focus of this site is on frauds affecting older consumers, and it is directed towards law enforcement and to those working with older consumers.

Steve recently retired from the Federal Trade Commission after over 30 years working on consumer fraud issues.  He was the Director of the FTC’s Midwest Region for more than 25 years. He helped form international law enforcement partnerships, including the Toronto Strategic Partnership and Project JOLT with Jamaica.    For several years Steve was the main FTC representative for the International Mass Marketing Fraud working group, where he worked with law enforcers around the world.  Steve is also on the board of directors of the International Better Business Bureau.
